Teenager on uninsured motorcycle hits horse in Bavaria

A 16-year-old motorcyclist, riding without a valid license, crashed into a horse on a field path near Scheyern in the Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district of Bavaria. The incident occurred Saturday evening as two women were exercising their horses.

Police reported that the teenager approached the riders at speed and did not slow down, even after the women signaled to him. The horses became startled, leading to a collision between the motorcycle and one of the animals. The horse suffered a laceration, while the 16-year-old fell but was unharmed.

Further investigation revealed the motorcycle was a 125cc model that was neither registered nor insured. The teenager also initially provided false personal information to the authorities. He is now under investigation for offenses including endangering road traffic, driving without a license, and violating compulsory insurance laws.
