Teenager with toy gun detained at Taiwan concert, sought 'Brother Da Ren'

An incident at the "Purple Love Changhua Grape Season" concert in Changhua, Taiwan, led to the detention of a minor who brought a toy gun to the event. The teenager reportedly intended to meet the popular singer Wang Shih-hsien, often referred to by his character name "Da Ren Ge" (Big Brother).

The concert, held near the Dazhong train station, featured several well-known singers. Around 8:30 p.m., as Wang Shih-hsien was about to perform, the intoxicated minor shouted his desire to meet the singer and produced the toy gun. He then attempted to approach the stage, making remarks about being prepared with "guns" from his "North Pavilion (gang)" and that "Brother Ren" would lead the team.

Event staff quickly intervened, subduing the youth and handing him over to the police. Officers arrived at the scene and took the individual into custody. The case is being processed under Article 65 of the Social Order Maintenance Act and will be forwarded to the Changhua District Court for adjudication.

This incident highlights a security concern at a public event, where a minor's actions, fueled by alcohol and a desire to meet a celebrity, disrupted the proceedings and necessitated police intervention.
