Temperatures may fall to freezing near the ground in some areas

A weak high-pressure ridge will bring mostly dry weather to Estonia on Monday, but temperatures near the ground could fall to 0°C in some lower-lying areas overnight.

The night will be clear or partly cloudy, with cloud cover changing in places. The western edge of the country may see occasional showers, and fog could develop in some areas.

Northwesterly and westerly winds will blow at 3 to 9 meters per second. Gusts could reach 13 meters per second along the coast and 15 meters per second in Virumaa. The wind will weaken by morning and become variable in western Estonia.

Air temperatures will range from 3°C to 9°C, with coastal areas reaching up to 14°C. Near the ground, however, temperatures may locally drop to freezing in lower areas.
