THAI to resume direct Amsterdam flights

Thai Airways International (THAI) is set to relaunch direct flights between Bangkok and Amsterdam starting July 1. The announcement came during the airline's annual customer appreciation event, "Rak Khun Tao Fah 2026," held at Emsphere. Kittiphong Sansomboon, THAI's chief commercial officer, stated that the resumption of the Amsterdam route signifies the airline's dedication to meeting increasing travel demand and enhancing passenger convenience. "Rak Khun Tao Fah 2026 marks another opportunity for THAI to express our appreciation to customers, Royal Orchid Plus members and business partners for their loyalty and confidence throughout our 66-year journey," he said. The airline views the Amsterdam service as a means to further expand its network and improve connectivity for both leisure and business travelers as global tourism continues its recovery. In addition to the route relaunch, THAI introduced several initiatives to boost customer engagement. These include special travel packages via Royal Orchid Holidays, enhanced benefits for Royal Orchid Plus members, and promotional campaigns. The event itself features over 3,000 prizes valued at more than 3 million baht, including business-class tickets to Amsterdam, alongside offerings from THAI Sky Shop, THAI Sky Duty Free, and Puff & Pie, supported by nine financial institution partners.
