Thailand Launches National AI Readiness Index for Businesses

Thailand has introduced its first national tool designed to measure organizational readiness for artificial intelligence. The Thailand AI Readiness Index, or TARI, was launched through a partnership involving key government and private sector entities.

The project is a joint effort spearheaded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and its Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO). They have collaborated with AIS Academy and IRIS Consulting to develop and implement this initiative.

The TARI project aims to provide organizations across Thailand with a comprehensive assessment of their preparedness to integrate and leverage AI technologies. By offering this tool, the initiative seeks to foster wider adoption of AI within the business landscape and bolster the nation's technological capabilities.
