‘The Trauma Center’ Actor Ha-young Leaves Sequel as Original Author Lee Nak-jun Is Named Visiting Professor

Two contrasting updates surrounding the sequel to ‘The Trauma Center’ emerged on the same day. Ha-young, who played Cheon Jang-mi in the first season, is leaving the follow-up production.

At the same time, the drama’s original author, physician and writer Lee Nak-jun, received an appointment of his own. He announced on social media that he had been named a visiting professor in the medical department at Inha University College of Medicine, his alma mater.

The timing gave Lee a professional milestone as the sequel faced a cast change. He personally shared the appointment on the first day of the month, writing, “I was appointed a visiting professor in the medical department at Inha University College of Medicine, my alma mater.”
