The Warning to Head Halftime Show at 49ers-Vikings NFL Game in Mexico

The Warning will bring its hard-rock sound to one of Mexico's most emblematic stadiums when the San Francisco 49ers face the Minnesota Vikings in Mexico City on Nov. 22.

The NFL said the band will headline the musical performance at the regular-season game at Azteca Stadium. The group consists of Monterrey-born sisters Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra Villarreal.

We are more than excited to be part of this NFL event in our country, in such an iconic stadium.

The sisters said they were excited to take part in an NFL event in their own country and described performing during an international Sunday night game as an “incredible privilege.” The band also said it loved the NFL.

The Warning has accumulated more than 785 million streams during its career. Its song “Kerosene” reached No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, and the group received a 2024 Latin Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song.

Tim Tubito, the NFL's senior director of global game presentation, music and entertainment, said Mexico City had a deep passion for both American football and music. He said The Warning offered the energy, authenticity and local connection the league sought for the performance.

The band joins other artists scheduled for the NFL's international games. The Jonas Brothers will perform at the 49ers-Rams game in Melbourne on Sept. 10, while Ricky Martin and Pedro Sampaio are set for the Ravens-Cowboys game in Rio de Janeiro on Sept. 27. Ayra Starr will headline the Eagles-Jaguars game in London on Oct. 11, 2026.
