Third Explosive Drone Found in Germany After Suspected Airport Attack Attempt

German authorities have uncovered a third drone suspected of carrying explosives, following a purported attack attempt at Leipzig/Halle Airport earlier this month. German media outlets report that investigators found the device on August 14, a full ten days after the initial incident occurred.

The discovery adds a new layer to the investigation into the security breach at the airport, which is a critical hub for freight and military logistics. NATO and the Ukrainian airline Antonov Airlines utilize the airport for transporting military equipment, underscoring its strategic importance.
