This Is the Audi A2 e-tron

Efficiency is the defining feature of Audi’s new A2 e-tron. The German automaker says the electric model is the most efficient production car in its history, using 12.8 kWh per 100 kilometers and offering up to 646 kilometers of range under the WLTP standard.

The car has an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.24. Buyers can choose among four power levels and three battery capacities: 52, 61 or 84 kWh. The entry version produces 125 kW and 350 Nm, while the top model reaches 240 kW and 545 Nm.

Charging times vary by battery. The 84 kWh battery supports fast charging of up to 183 kW and takes 29 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. The 52 kWh battery takes 24 minutes at up to 100 kW, while the 61 kWh version takes 25 minutes at up to 105 kW.

Audi shaped the exterior to improve aerodynamics and make efficient use of space. The cabin includes a standard panoramic display combining an 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus with a 12.8-inch curved MMI touchscreen. It also offers a magnetic wireless charging station, three sound-system options and Audi connected work, which links drivers to Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams and phone calls through voice commands.

Audi will begin accepting orders on Sept. 10, 2026, and plans to make the first vehicles available in December. In Germany, prices start at 38,200 euros for the 125 kW version with a 52 kWh battery. The 61 kWh model costs 41,900 euros, the 170 kW version with an 84 kWh battery costs 48,900 euros, and the 240 kW flagship is priced at 51,200 euros.
