Thomas Ramos confirms difficult decision to leave Toulouse for Racing 92 in 2027

Thomas Ramos, a prominent figure for both Stade Toulousain and the French national team, is set to depart his long-time club. After more than 15 years, the 31-year-old will join Racing 92 in the summer of 2027, a move officially confirmed by the French champions.

Ramos described the decision as "particularly difficult," expressing deep attachment to Stade Toulousain, the club where he grew and achieved significant moments. He stated his desire to embrace a new sporting challenge and continue his personal development in a different environment. Despite the upcoming separation, Ramos assured his commitment to his final season with Toulouse, vowing to give his all to help the club achieve its objectives.

Stade Toulousain president Didier Lacroix recognized Ramos as a "face of Stade Toulousain" and praised his exceptional competitiveness and demanding nature, which elevates the team.
