Three Arrested for Alleged Illegal Excavation on Tláhuac Property

Authorities in Mexico City arrested three men in the Tláhuac borough for allegedly entering a property without permission and beginning excavation work. Police were dispatched to the site on José de la Cuesta street in the Barrio Santiago Sur neighborhood following a report from the C2 Oriente command center about an invasion. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a citizen who identified the three individuals, stating they had entered his property without authorization and started digging. The arrested men, aged 54, 47, and 40, were taken into custody under an immediate response protocol for alleged property dispossession. They were informed of their constitutional rights before being transferred to the relevant public prosecutor's office. The prosecutor's office will now investigate the case to determine the legal status of the detainees and their potential responsibility for the alleged crimes.
