Three Dead in Paint Factory Fire in Cheonan

Three individuals have died following a fire that erupted at a paint raw material production factory in Cheonan, located in the South Chungcheong Province. The victims are believed to be employees of the factory, though authorities are still in the process of confirming their identities.

The fire started around 11:44 AM on August 28th. The local fire department immediately declared a Level 1 emergency response and began efforts to extinguish the flames. Three bodies were discovered within the factory premises after the fire broke out.

Fire officials noted that the ongoing rain in the Cheonan area might aid in the firefighting efforts, suggesting the blaze might not take an excessively long time to fully extinguish. Once the fire is completely put out, authorities plan to launch a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident.
