Three held for drug trafficking in Al Seeb

Omani authorities have arrested three individuals from two Asian nationalities in the Al Seeb area for their involvement in drug trafficking and consumption. The operation, conducted by the Directorate for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances at the Muscat Governorate Police Command, resulted in a significant seizure of illicit substances.

During the arrest, law enforcement officials confiscated more than 7,000 psychotropic tablets. Additionally, substantial quantities of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, and hashish were found in the possession of the suspects. The substances were intended for both trafficking and personal consumption, according to police reports.

The Directorate for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances is actively working to dismantle drug networks and curb the flow of illegal substances within the governorate. The recent arrests highlight the ongoing efforts to maintain public safety and combat drug-related crime in Oman.
