Three injured, two arrested after confrontation near Victoria's Beacon Hill Park

An alleged assault with a weapon near Victoria's Beacon Hill Park on Friday night has resulted in two arrests and three people injured. Victoria police responded to reports of a confrontation involving multiple individuals in the Dallas Road area shortly after 10 p.m. Officers arrived to find three people with non-life-threatening injuries. Two of the injured were transported to a local hospital for treatment and have since been discharged. Neither of the two individuals arrested at the scene sustained injuries. Authorities have identified one of the arrested individuals as a youth. Both remain in police custody as the investigation continues. The Victoria Police Department’s Major Crime Unit has taken the lead on the case, which is still in its preliminary stages. Police are appealing to anyone with information who has not yet come forward to contact them.
