Three Israelis arrested for transporting undocumented Palestinians

Three Israelis face charges for allegedly transporting undocumented Palestinian individuals into Israel. Police reported separate incidents over the past week where Israeli citizens were apprehended for aiding illegal entry.

In one case, officers stopped an Israeli minibus on Highway 1. A search revealed 16 Palestinians from Tulkarm who reportedly lacked permits to be in Israel. The driver, a Kafr Aqab resident, was arrested along with the passengers. Authorities seized the minibus, believed to have been used in the offense.

In a separate operation on Highway 443, police arrested a woman from Beersheba on suspicion of transporting Palestinians illegally into the country. She was found with four individuals hidden in her vehicle. The following day, another Beersheba woman, aged in her 30s, was arrested on the same highway for a similar offense, also found with four concealed Palestinians. Both vehicles used in these incidents were seized, and the women's detentions were extended by a court.
