Thunderstorms and Hail Expected in Five Saudi Regions

Thunderstorms accompanied by hail are expected across five regions of Saudi Arabia, according to the National Center for Meteorology. The forecast indicates that Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah will experience these weather conditions.

In addition to the rain and hail, active winds are predicted to stir up dust and sand. These conditions will affect the aforementioned regions, as well as parts of the Madinah region and the coastal route leading to Jazan. Residents in these areas should prepare for reduced visibility and potential respiratory discomfort.

Further weather developments include the possibility of convective clouds forming over parts of the Eastern Province and Riyadh, potentially bringing more rain. Meanwhile, maximum temperatures are expected to remain high in several areas, including parts of the Northern Borders and Qassim regions, adding to the challenging weather patterns.
