Thunderstorms and Rain Expected This Afternoon in Several Regions

Tunisia is bracing for a day of mixed weather, with cloudy skies and the development of thunderstorms accompanied by rain expected across several regions. The forecast indicates that these stormy conditions will primarily affect the western, central, and southern parts of the country in the afternoon, with the rain potentially extending to eastern areas as well.

Alongside the threat of storms, a slight increase in temperatures is anticipated. Highs are predicted to range between 32 and 37 degrees Celsius in the highlands, while other regions could experience temperatures between 37 and 41 degrees Celsius. A local sirocco wind is also expected to contribute to the warmer conditions.

Wind conditions are expected to be light to moderate, blowing from the north in northern regions and from the east in central and southern areas. However, winds may strengthen temporarily during the thunderstorms. The sea is predicted to be slightly choppy to locally rough.
