Tinubu gets Osun APC endorsement as Oyetola, Oyebamiji vote in primary

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State participated in the party's presidential primary on Saturday, reaffirming their endorsement of President Bola Tinubu as the party's candidate for the 2027 presidential election. The exercise took place across all 332 wards in the state.

The Presidential Primary held in Osun State today went on smoothly without any crisis. The materials from the primary election committee were transported to the various local government and that wards on time.

Notable party figures, including the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, and the APC's governorship candidate for the upcoming state election, Bola Oyebamiji, cast their votes. Oyetola participated at his Iragbiji Ward 1, while Oyebamiji voted at Ikire Ward 9. Both were joined by large crowds of party supporters.

The primary was monitored in various wards within Osogbo and Olorunda local government areas, where the exercise proceeded peacefully. Ward agents from the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, a group supporting President Tinubu, were present in most monitored wards. The second presidential aspirant, Stanley Osifo, reportedly had no agents in many of these wards.

All party members mobilised to all the 332 wards to queue for our president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the candidate of the party for 2027 election. The structure of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors across the wards and Local Government work as agent at various levels.

Sunday Akere, the Osun Renewed Hope Ambassador, described the primary as smooth and crisis-free. He confirmed that election materials were distributed promptly and that party members mobilized to queue behind President Tinubu. Akere also mentioned that Adegboyega Oyetola is serving as the State Collation Officer, overseeing the compilation of results before they are sent to Abuja. He expressed confidence in the overwhelming support and loyalty shown by party members towards President Tinubu's bid for a second term.
