Bishkek is expected to have partly cloudy skies and possible rain on September 2. The daytime temperature should reach 27°C.

Utility services will be cut at different times in several parts of the city and surrounding settlements. Work on Lev Tolstoy Street will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Longer interruptions, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., are planned in the Ak-Ordo residential area and along sections of several streets, including Litvinova, Ostashkovskaya, Pishpek and Srednyaya. Parts of Sukhomlinov, Tselinnaya, Tabaldieva, Vodoprovodnaya and Akhunbaev streets are also listed, along with sections of Toktonalieva, Tuleberdieva, Mozhaisky and Kyzyl-Kiya streets.

The schedule also includes Vitebsky and Snegirevsky lanes, Ilmenskaya Street, parts of the villages of Karl Marx, Vasilyevka and Kok-Zhar, and the settlement of Prigorodnoye. Service interruptions there are scheduled until 6 p.m.

The historical section recalls that Ak-Tala District was established on September 2, 1936. The district has 13 village districts and a population of just over 30,000, according to the text. It is associated with akyn Togolok Moldo, composer Kalyi Moldobasanov and singer and composer Musa Baetov. The district center, Baetovo village, bears Baetov's name.

The guide also marks the birth anniversaries of writer, playwright and director Kasymaly Dzhantoshev, born in 1904, and People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Munarbek Atageldiev, born in 1949. It recalls the death of composer Vladimir Fere in Moscow in 1971. Fere helped establish Kyrgyz professional music and co-wrote music for the State Anthem of the Kyrgyz SSR.
