Tokayev thanked Xi for the invitation to the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, noting Shanghai's symbolic importance as the "Pearl of the East."

Tokayev congratulated Xi on the 105th anniversary of the Communist Party of China, highlighting China's international authority and achievements. He described Xi as a "strong leader" and "wise politician of global stature," affirming Kazakhstan's commitment to strengthening its "eternal and strategic partnership" with China. "We are always ready to support your noble initiatives," Tokayev stated, noting the significant intensification of political dialogue between the two nations in recent years.

China enjoys great authority in the international community, and its achievements have been recognized worldwide.

Economic cooperation has seen major success, with China serving as Kazakhstan's largest trading partner. China has invested $30 billion in Kazakhstan's economy, and bilateral trade reached $49 billion last year. Over 8,500 Chinese companies operate in Kazakhstan, with joint projects underway in various sectors including industry, energy, and agriculture. Cultural and humanitarian ties are also growing, evidenced by over 1 million Chinese visitors to Kazakhstan last year and the establishment of cultural centers and Luban Workshops in both countries.

On the international stage, Kazakhstan and China share similar positions on global development and security issues, cooperating within frameworks like the UN, SCO, CICA, and the Central Asia–China format. He acknowledged Tokayev's "friendly policy toward China" as beneficial to both nations.
