Tom Holland: I'll stay Spider-Man as long as they want me

Hollywood actor Tom Holland, currently 30 years old, sees no end in sight for his tenure as Spider-Man. He expressed his commitment to the role, stating in an interview with "The Hollywood Reporter," "I'll do it as long as they want me. So if this movie does well, we'll see!"

Holland is slated to appear as the web-slinging superhero in the upcoming "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. This will mark Holland's fourth solo Spider-Man film. He referred to the role as the "gift of my life" in his conversation with "The Hollywood Reporter."

His partner, US actress Zendaya, who is 29, will also feature in both "The Odyssey" and "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." The couple, who fell in love during the filming of "Spider-Man," recently sparked rumors of a wedding.

Both actors recently completed extensive press tours for "The Odyssey" and "Spider-Man." In the new superhero film, Holland's Peter Parker will once again battle a villain in a world that no longer remembers him. The cast also includes Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Jon Bernthal as Punisher, and "Stranger Things" star Sadie Sink.

The previous film, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (2021), was a global blockbuster, grossing billions worldwide. Expectations are high for a strong opening weekend for its sequel.
