Clint Green, the newly appointed manager, emphasized the critical need for community support. He highlighted that the center's primary mission revolves around education, and without adequate resources and volunteer assistance, its ability to serve schools and the public is severely compromised. The center's hatchery, which raises juvenile trout, is a key component of its educational offerings.
