Top 20 EPL clubs ranked by biggest player sales

While the Premier League is renowned for its massive spending, English clubs also generate substantial income through player sales. A recent ranking by Planet Football has identified the top 20 clubs based on the highest transfer fees received for a single player.

Fulham leads the pack with Aleksandar Mitrović's £50 million move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, a fee difficult to reject despite the club's desire to retain their prolific striker. Leeds United also secured a record sale with Raphinha's £49 million transfer to Barcelona, where he has since become a key attacking player.

Arsenal's record sale remains Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's £40 million transfer to Liverpool. Other notable sales include Hull City's Jarrod Bowen (£22 million to West Ham) and Sunderland's Jobe Bellingham (£27 million to Borussia Dortmund), who is following in his brother Jude's footsteps.

The list also features Coventry City's Viktor Gyökeres (£17.5 million to Sporting), who has become a prolific forward in Portugal, and Ipswich Town's Omari Hutchinson (£37.5 million to Nottingham Forest), a young winger with potential to justify the investment.
