A shooting at a vibrant street festival in Toronto has left two people dead and multiple others injured, plunging the city into shock. The incident occurred late Saturday night during the annual Salsa on St Clair festival, a popular event drawing thousands of attendees.

Police received multiple calls reporting an active shooter around 8:12 p.m. local time on St Clair Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered six victims with gunshot wounds.
