Tour de France: Pogacar in his own galaxy after 19th stage win, Martinez climbs podium

Tadej Pogacar has solidified his grip on the yellow jersey, dramatically increasing his lead in the Tour de France general classification with a commanding victory on the 19th stage. The Slovenian star crossed the finish line at Alpe d'Huez with such dominance that his overall lead is now considered almost insurmountable with only two days left in the 113th edition of the race.

Remco Evenepoel managed to limit his losses, finishing ahead of his closest rivals for the podium, Isaac Del Toro and Paul Seixas. The 19-year-old French rider Seixas conceded a few seconds to his rivals competing for the podium and the white jersey. Another Frenchman, Lenny Martinez, made a notable ascent in the general classification, moving up two places following his strong second-place finish on the stage, just behind the untouchable Pogacar.

Ecuador's Richard Carapaz also improved his standing, climbing to 8th overall after securing a podium spot on the day. French rider Jordan Jegat lost time but maintained his position within the top 10, now sitting over 23 minutes behind the leader. The stage results have reshaped the standings significantly as the peloton approaches the race's conclusion.
