Townhouse row fully ablaze in Arboga – about ten apartments affected

A townhouse complex in Arboga is completely engulfed in flames, with emergency services estimating that around ten apartments will be totally destroyed. The fire, which broke out on Friday afternoon, has prompted a large-scale response from rescue services.

Rescue services are on site with crews from multiple stations. "We will let the first row burn down under controlled conditions and then try to extinguish the second one," Johansson added. The police have secured a large area to aid the firefighting and rescue efforts.
