Trabzonspor edges Udinese 1-0 for first pre-season win

Trabzonspor secured their first victory of the pre-season training camp in Austria, triumphing over Italian side Udinese with a narrow 1-0 scoreline. The friendly match, held as part of their preparations for the upcoming season, saw the Turkish club finally find the back of the net after two previous defeats.

The decisive goal came early in the encounter, with Ernest Muçi scoring in the 4th minute. This single strike proved to be enough to secure the win for Trabzonspor against the Italian opponent. The remainder of the match saw no further changes to the score, concluding with the 1-0 advantage for the "Bordo-Mavili" team.

This win against Udinese concluded Trabzonspor's pre-season campaign in Austria. Earlier, the team had suffered a 3-0 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt and a 1-0 defeat against Qatar's Al Sadd. Consequently, the camp ended with one win and two losses across the three friendly matches.

Notably, four players were absent from Trabzonspor's camp squad. Batagov and Okay Yokuşlu were sidelined due to injuries, while Draguş and Salih Malkoçoğlu were not included as their departures from the team are reportedly being considered. Additionally, Tekke did not field Folcarelli in the final match due to an injury. Trabzonspor is scheduled to return to Trabzon on the night of the match.
