Trabzonspor Eyes AC Milan Midfielder Yunus Musah

Turkish football club Trabzonspor is reportedly interested in signing Yunus Musah, a midfielder currently playing for Italian club AC Milan. According to Italian media reports, Trabzonspor has placed Musah on its transfer list as they continue their search for midfield reinforcements.

Yunus Dimoara Musah was born on November 29, 2002, in the United States to Ghanaian parents. His family later relocated to Castelfranco Veneto, Italy. Musah, who represents the United States internationally, began his football journey in Italy with Giorgione Calcio 2000 before moving to London at the age of nine. There, he joined Arsenal's academy while attending Eastbury Community School.

In the summer of 2019, at 16 years old, Musah transferred to Valencia, making his debut for the B team in September 2019. He progressed to the first team under coach Javi Gracia. On August 4, 2023, Musah made a significant move to Serie A club AC Milan for a fee of 18 million euros, plus a 2 million euro bonus, signing a contract until June 2028. He chose the number 80 jersey, previously worn by Ronaldinho.

Internationally, Musah represented England at the U15 and U18 levels starting in 2016. However, he accepted a call-up to the U.S. Men's National Team in November 2020 and has since represented the United States in friendly matches against Wales and Panama.
