Trabzonspor President Denies Salah Salary Seizure Rumors, Calls Them 'Immoral Lies'

Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan has vehemently refuted claims that Mohamed Salah's salary has been seized, dismissing the reports as "ridiculous" and "immoral lies."

Speaking to HT Spor, Doğan expressed his dismay at the spread of such misinformation, stating that legal proceedings have already begun against the perpetrators. "Technically, such a thing is impossible. There is no such issue," he asserted, questioning the motives behind these fabricated stories and their amplification by media channels.

Doğan contrasted the negative rumors with the overwhelming positive reception of Salah's transfer by Trabzonspor fans. He revealed that in just three days, the club has sold over 550 million in season tickets, excluding jersey sales, demonstrating significant fan enthusiasm and financial support. "I thank our fans very much; they did not disappoint us," he added.
