Traces of police intervention removed from CHP headquarters; nameplates taken down

Police have cleared traces of their intervention at the Republican People's Party (CHP) headquarters, following a court decision and a request to evacuate the building. Riot police had previously broken through the gates and entered the premises, using tear gas and causing damage that remains visible. The effects of the pepper spray still linger in the air and on the walls, where remnants of gas canisters are evident. Party workers have been engaged in cleaning and repair efforts since last evening. The damaged iron bars at the garden entrance were repaired with welding, and slogans written on the walls during the intervention were removed. The sliding iron parking gate, which was broken by authorities, has been replaced with a barrier. The nameplates of deputy chairpersons were also removed from their office doors, and the rooms were largely emptied. These preparations are reportedly being rushed to be completed before the interim party leader, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, arrives at the headquarters.
