Tragedy in Córdoba: Shocking video shows young man on fire, later dying from burns

A tragic incident has shaken Marcos Juárez, Córdoba, where a 20-year-old man, identified as Isaías Barrera, died from severe burns. He was discovered engulfed in flames on a street in the city's Sur neighborhood, just meters from his home.

Emergency services rushed Barrera to a local hospital, and he was subsequently transferred to the Burn Institute in Córdoba. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. The Córdoba Police stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the event, with the local prosecutor's office overseeing the inquiry.

Investigators have examined Barrera's residence. His partner, Sabrina S., also 20, told police she did not know how the fire started but recalled seeing Isaías cleaning his motorcycle shortly before the incident. However, Barrera's family firmly believes he was intentionally set on fire and has publicly called for justice.
