Tragedy in the neighborhood: Went to wash his car and died on the spot

A tragic accident claimed the life of a 47-year-old man from Zemun on Sunday evening in Mala Moštanica, near Belgrade. The man was electrocuted while washing his car, an incident that occurred in a yard saturated with water.

According to available information, the man had visited friends and decided to wash his vehicle around 7 p.m. using a high-pressure washer. He was standing on the wet grass and plugging in the electric device when a powerful electric shock occurred. The injuries sustained were fatal, and he died at the scene.

Emergency medical services from Obrenovac were immediately called and attempted to resuscitate the 47-year-old. Despite their efforts, doctors could only confirm his death. Police arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation into the circumstances of the accident. Preliminary findings suggest it was an unfortunate accident caused by electrocution, and no autopsy was ordered due to the lack of suspicious circumstances.
