Transport workers protest outside presidential residence as traffic officials advise alternate routes

A group of transport workers arrived in Zapote before dawn, and their protest closed the north side of Costa Rica’s presidential residence.

Traffic officials advised drivers who need to pass through the area to take alternate routes. The gathering caused a disruption around Casa Presidencial as the demonstrators remained in front of the building.
