Travis Kelce brings Taylor Swift’s beloved dog into new fashion campaign

Wendy, the white Samoyed adopted by Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, has stepped into the spotlight in a new Tommy Hilfiger fashion campaign.

According to Vogue, Kelce appears with Wendy in the campaign, filmed at New York’s Plaza hotel. He walks through the lobby, goes up to a room, puts down his luggage and relaxes on a sofa with the dog. The campaign also includes Gigi Hadid, Jisoo, Peggy Gou, Frances Tiafoe and Carmelo Anthony.

Kelce said the creative team wanted to include a dog and that he immediately suggested bringing his own. “At first we were going to use a dog in the shoot and the whole team asked, ‘Oh, do you want to bring your dog?’ I said, let me discuss this with my fiancée at the time first. And she was completely supportive,” he said.

In a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, Kelce said he and Swift had adopted Wendy some time ago. The Tommy Hilfiger advertisement was released on Sept. 1. Before then, the couple had tried to keep the dog away from public attention, but they were photographed with Wendy while leaving a private plane in Palm Beach, Florida, in mid-July. Some media outlets subsequently called her the couple’s “mystery dog.”

Kathleen Farlow, president of the Samoyed Club of America, described Wendy as a beautiful Samoyed with a good breeding background. She said the breed requires regular coat care and typically sheds its double coat twice a year.

The campaign arrives as Kelce prepares for his 14th NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs. He has also drawn attention for his fashion style, which he says he has enjoyed since childhood. Kelce praised Swift’s ability to express her personality through clothing, including her use of distinctive patterns and vivid colors.
