Triathlon champion Cassandre Beaugrand breaks French running records

French athlete Cassandre Beaugrand is demonstrating extraordinary versatility, excelling in both elite triathlon and track and field. Her recent performance at the Monaco Diamond League, where she set a new French record in the 3000m with a time of 8:32.86, has captured significant attention.

This remarkable achievement is particularly noteworthy as it marked Beaugrand's return to official running races after nearly a decade. I love challenges. I looked at the program for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics to see when the women's 5000m is held, but it's on the same day as the women's triathlon, so unfortunately it would be impossible to participate in both. Then I looked at the women's 10,000m, and that could work.

Beaugrand's athletic prowess was already well-established through her dominant triathlon career. She won the Olympic gold medal in the women's individual triathlon at the Paris Games and has secured numerous victories and podium finishes throughout her career. While the schedules for the women's 5000m and triathlon in Los Angeles conflict, she is considering the 10,000m race.
