Tropical wave to bring rain to Honduras starting June 15

Honduras is bracing for the arrival of a tropical wave, which is predicted to enter the national territory on Monday, June 15. The National Center for Atmospheric, Oceanographic, and Seismic Studies (Cenaos) forecasts that this weather system will bring significant rainfall to various regions across the country.

According to Mario Centeno, a forecaster with Cenaos, the conditions are conducive to rain throughout the weekend, with the tropical wave expected to intensify the precipitation from Tuesday onwards. The southern and western areas of Honduras are identified as the regions likely to experience the heaviest downpours. However, the forecast indicates that the entire nation will feel the effects of the tropical wave, with widespread showers anticipated.

In addition to the increased rainfall, the influx of the tropical wave is also expected to cause a noticeable drop in temperatures. Authorities are urging the public to take the necessary precautions to mitigate any potential risks associated with the changing weather conditions.
