Truck carrying sunflower seed flour hid 1100 liters of ecstasy in its fuel tanks

Argentine authorities have intercepted a significant quantity of liquid ecstasy concealed within the fuel tanks of a Paraguayan truck. The vehicle, reportedly carrying a cargo of sunflower seed flour intended for Chile, was discovered abandoned at a gas station in Villa Nueva, Córdoba province.

Intelligence gathered by the Chaco area's Criminal Intelligence Gendarmerie alerted other units to the truck's movement towards the Andes. Units in Córdoba located the truck at a service station. Upon inspection, officers noticed that auxiliary fuel tanks were not connected to the engine and contained a substance with unusual coloration.

Further investigation by specialized Gendarmerie units, including "San Francisco" and "Villa María," along with the Córdoba Provincial Antinarcotics Force, confirmed the presence of 1100 liters of MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy, in liquid form. The truck, its illicit cargo, and the sunflower seed flour were seized by judicial order.
