Trump claims US Navy fully controls Strait of Hormuz amid Iran demands

These demands include the lifting of naval blockades against Iran, an end to sanctions, the release of frozen Iranian assets, and compensation for damages incurred from the conflict initiated by the U.S. and Israel on February 28.

Responding to Iran's demands on his Truth Social platform, Trump stated he would require Iran to compensate for past "abuses" and to indemnify the families of protesters repressed by the state.
