Trump: 'I have not yet decided on large-scale attacks against Iran'

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he has not yet decided on conducting large-scale attacks against Iran. Speaking at a press conference at the White House, Trump responded to journalists' questions about the ongoing conflict between the U.S. and Iran and the possibility of a deal.

Trump indicated that Iran is adopting a more serious approach in negotiations. He stressed that he is not in a rush concerning Iran and expressed confidence in the promises made by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the matter. "I don't know if Russia and China are enabling Iran. I don't think Russia or China want to see me disappointed," Trump stated.

Regarding a potential nuclear energy agreement with Saudi Arabia, Trump reiterated his precondition: their participation in the Abraham Accords. "They need to be a party to the Abraham Accords, which have been extremely successful, in order to do this," he said. Trump added that it is time for the Saudi administration and others to sign the agreement, noting that their previous hesitation was due to issues with Iran, which he implied are no longer a significant obstacle.
