Trump names PM Modi, Xi Jinping among two greatest leaders he likes on world stage

U.S. President Donald Trump has identified Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping as the two world leaders he most admires, referring to them as "classics" during an interview on The Axios Show.

Trump praised Modi's leadership, citing his 12-year tenure and political stability amidst a turbulent landscape. "He stays out of wars, which is smart. He's 1.5 billion people. He's actually the biggest. India is actually the biggest. And Modi's a great leader, and we do a lot of business with them, but now we do fair business," Trump stated.

Describing Modi as maintaining "calmness" while being "a very tough guy," Trump noted his personal familiarity with the Indian Prime Minister. He contrasted India's past political instability with Modi's sustained presence, attributing it to the leader's "great calmness."
