Trump receives diamond-encrusted ring from Belgian industry

Donald Trump, the U.S. President, has been presented with an extravagant gold ring, reportedly featuring 321 diamonds, from a representative of Belgium's diamond industry. This opulent gift arrives just months after the United States lifted tariffs on diamond imports from Belgium.

The ring, dubbed 'Freedom 250,' was handed over to U.S. Ambassador to Belgium, Bill White, to be presented to Trump. It is adorned with a total of 321 diamonds, alongside 56 sapphires, 13 emeralds, and 6 rubies. The intricate design includes the American flag, the inscriptions '1776' and '2026,' and two large letter 'T's. A Superman logo shape on the ring contains the numbers 45 and 47, also decorated with diamonds.

Further embellishments on the ring include an eagle with diamond wings clutching a ruby shield and an emerald olive branch. The number '250' is positioned below, with '250 YEARS USA' above it. The presentation of such a high-value item, particularly following a favorable trade decision, has drawn attention.
