President Donald Trump issued a forceful warning to Iran on Monday, declaring that the country would pay "many times more" for the lives of any American soldiers it takes. This declaration came after Washington announced three new U.S. casualties and one soldier missing over the weekend.

"Every time Iran kills an American soldier, it will pay for that murder many times more!" Trump posted on his platform Truth Social. He further stated, "This order has been transmitted to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Daniel Caine, and all military leaders."

According to a statement by spokesperson Karoline Leavitt on X, Trump was scheduled to visit a military base in Delaware on Tuesday evening to receive the bodies of the recently fallen U.S. soldiers. The casualties included two soldiers who died Friday in attacks on Jordan, which also left one soldier missing. A third service member died due to the destruction of enemy munitions in Iraq.
