Trump Warns U.S. 'Not Finished' Attacking Iran Amid Escalating Regional Tensions

President Donald Trump declared that the United States has "not finished" its military operations against Iran, asserting that the nation would require over two decades to recover from the damage inflicted during the ongoing conflict. "If we left right now, it would take Iran 20, 25 years to rebuild," Trump stated, emphasizing that the U.S. forces are not withdrawing.

The U.S. military confirmed an eleventh consecutive night of strikes targeting Iranian military infrastructure. The objective, according to the military, was to "further degrade Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz." Trump also indicated that a potential next target could be an underground nuclear site near Natanz, known as Pickaxe Mountain, which Western intelligence suspects is being used for undeclared enrichment activities.

Iran responded with threats of reprisal. The Khatam Al-Anbiya military command stated that any attack on the underground complex would be considered "an expansion of war in the region," vowing to strike "all the interests of America, the allies and supporters." Meanwhile, Bahrain reported intercepting Iranian attacks, and Kuwait and Jordan announced they had intercepted drone and missile strikes originating from Iran.

The Kuwaiti army confirmed engaging drone attacks, while Iran's Revolutionary Guards claimed responsibility for striking a "complex housing US terrorist forces in the region of Rukban" in Jordan. They also stated that Iranian forces targeted U.S. assets in Kuwait and Bahrain, including radar installations and administrative buildings, warning of more "decisive and powerful waves of drone and missile attacks."

Maritime intelligence noted that two tankers altered course in the Red Sea after loading crude at a Saudi port, suggesting potential impact if the blockade were enforced.
