Trump: Xi to visit US Sept. 24 for AI talks

"President Xi will come on September 24. We discussed artificial intelligence when I was in Beijing and we will discuss it again," Trump stated on social media, confirming the upcoming summit. This announcement comes shortly after U.S. Secretary of State Mike Rubio held talks with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi.

During their conversation, Rubio and Wang Yi reportedly concurred on the importance of identifying specific areas for collaboration. Their aim is to lay the groundwork for what they described as a "very positive visit" for President Xi to the U.S., signaling an effort to foster constructive dialogue between the two nations on key issues.
