Tsann Kuen Launches Affordable AI Smart Glasses with GPT and 165-Language Translation

Tsann Kuen, a Taiwanese electronics retailer, has entered the burgeoning AI wearable market with its new "Cfairy AI Smart Glasses." The company is positioning the product as an affordable option, priced at NT$4,990 (approximately $150 USD), with an introductory offer of NT$3,990. This move aims to make advanced AI technology more accessible to consumers.

The Cfairy AI glasses are designed for comfort and ease of use, weighing only 48 grams and featuring magnetic fast charging. They incorporate OpenAI's GPT generative AI technology, enabling features such as real-time translation for up to 165 languages, voice interaction, smart Q&A, and recording capabilities. The company highlights the glasses' potential as a personal AI assistant, going beyond typical wearable functions.

Hardware specifications include a 13-megapixel camera supporting 2K video recording, three noise-canceling microphones for clear audio capture, and 4GB of internal storage. The device offers approximately 2.15 hours of continuous recording, 53 minutes of video recording, and up to 8.5 hours of music playback on a single charge. Standby time can reach up to 11 hours, meeting daily recording and entertainment needs.

Tsann Kuen is offering the glasses through its retail stores and online platform. A bundled package with specialized lenses from Koshino Eyewear is available starting at NT$5,490, further reducing the cost for consumers looking to experience AI wearable technology.
