TSE official seeks recovery of $34 million spent on Bolivia's 2019 'fraudulent' elections

Carlos Alberto Goitia, an official of Bolivia's Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE), is pursuing the recovery of more than 233 million bolivianos (approximately $34 million) spent on the 2019 general elections. These elections were ultimately annulled amid widespread allegations of electoral fraud, which also led to the resignation of then-President Evo Morales.
