TSG unveils AI-driven DroneWeaver System for rapid counter-UAS defense

TSG has unveiled its new DroneWeaver System (DWS), an autonomous counter-unmanned aircraft systems platform designed to rapidly defend against hostile drones. The system aims to help security and law-enforcement agencies detect, analyze, and neutralize threats within seconds.

DroneWeaver automates approximately 90% of the threat-management process. It integrates data from multiple sensors, filters false alarms, classifies threats, assesses risks, and recommends the most effective interception method in real time. This automation is intended to significantly reduce operator workload while enhancing response speed and accuracy.

Pini Yungman, president of TSG, stated that the DroneWeaver system showcases the company's air defense and command-and-control capabilities. "Built on many years of experience in developing and deploying operational air defense systems, we have taken a proven capability for aerial threat management and extended it to the world of drones and UAVs, integrating automation and artificial intelligence that enable rapid and precise response even against complex and dynamic threats," he said.

The system is built upon TSG’s aerial defense infrastructure, which has been used by security organizations in Israel and internationally for years. The new counter-UAS layer has already completed operational pilot programs with customers in the United States and Eastern Europe. DroneWeaver is designed to be a flexible and scalable solution capable of managing complex airspace environments, providing a unified real-time picture of the sky for faster decision-making under pressure.

TSG will showcase the DroneWeaver System at the ILA Berlin Air Show 2026. The platform features an open, sensor-agnostic architecture, allowing integration with various technologies like radars, RF detection systems, and cameras. It also supports a wide range of interception tools, from electronic jamming to lasers and kinetic systems, intelligently matching threats with suitable countermeasures to minimize the use of costly interceptors.
