'Tuffman' Fatally Shot by Police in Shelter Rock, St Catherine

Police shot and killed a man known as 'Tuffman' during an operation in Shelter Rock, Spanish Town, St Catherine, on Sunday morning.

The man, whose address was given as Jones Pen in Spanish Town, was identified by the alias. Police said he was a person of interest in a number of crimes in the St Catherine North division.

According to the police account, officers armed with a search warrant went to a premises in the area believed to be occupied by the man. The team advanced toward the dwelling, where the door opened and then suddenly shut.
