Tunisia Forecast: Thunderstorms and Localized Rain Expected Tonight

Tunisia is bracing for localized thunderstorms and rain across its northwestern and central regions as the night begins, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (INM).

The forecast indicates partly cloudy skies will prevail over most of the country. Residents in the southern parts of Tunisia should prepare for strong easterly winds, which are expected to cause local sandstorms, potentially reducing visibility.

Elsewhere, the wind is predicted to be light to moderate. The sea conditions along the northern coast are expected to be slightly rough, while other coastal areas may experience undulating seas.

Temperatures will see a slight variation across the country. Highs in the north, coastal regions, and highlands are expected to range between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. In other areas, temperatures will hover between 26 and 30 degrees Celsius, with the southwestern regions reaching up to 32 degrees and the far south experiencing a high of 36 degrees Celsius.
