Tunisia Honors 11 Figures in Education and Science with National Order of Merit

Tunisia has honored eleven prominent figures in the fields of education and science with the National Order of Merit. The distinctions, awarded in the third and fourth categories, were formalized through a presidential decree published in the Official Gazette.

Those recognized in the third category of the National Order of Merit for "Education and Sciences" include Noureddine Makbli and Imed Bousendil. The fourth category honorees are Moez Chafra, Youssef Ben Othman, Sahbi Bouguerra, Younes Boujelbane, Zeineb Amouri, Meriem Haj Belkacem épouse Alagui, Boutheina Laouini, Naceur Zaïri, and Mohamed Chaabani.

Established by law, the National Order of Merit in the "Education and Sciences" sector is bestowed by the President of the Republic. This prestigious award is specifically intended for educators, academics, and researchers. It serves as a formal acknowledgment of their dedicated efforts and significant contributions toward advancing and promoting science, knowledge, and learning within Tunisia.
